Special Quad Coil
Add versatility to your bass with our Special Quad Coil EMG!
This humbucker has 4 separate coils (8 conductors) and allows to get many different sounds with the same pickup, always retaining hum cancelling advantage:
1- Jazz Bass-style sounding (bridge side bobbins in series), hum cancelled
2- Jazz Bass-style sounding (neck side bobbins in series), hum cancelled
3- Precision-style sounding (split coil), hum cancelled
4- double coil in parallel (Music Man-style sounding), hum cancelled
5- double coil in series, hum cancelled
6- reverse Precision-style sounding, humcancelled
With our specific wiring schematic for 6-way rotary switch, you can enjoy all the sound modes (1-2-3-4-5-6). You can also choose a 5-way rotary switch to get modes 1-2-3-4-5 only.
Instead of the rotary switch, you can also use an on/on/on switch for selection, with only two different combinations of sounds (2-3-4 or 2-3-5).
